NOTICE OF MAYOR VACANCY

Notice is hereby given that Honeyville City will be accepting applications for individuals interested in being considered to fill the Mayor interim vacancy effective December 30, 2022.  This will fill an unexpired term and will end December 31, 2023.  The position will be placed on the ballot for the remaining 2-years of that term in the 2023 Municipal General Election. 

Qualifications for consideration are; be a United States Citizen, be a registered voter of the municipality and be a resident of the municipality for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date for the appointment.

Applications are available at the Honeyville City office and must be submitted in person at the office of the City Recorder during the hours of 9:00 a.m. – Noon, Monday – Friday.  Please be aware that the office will be closed November 11^th for Veterans Day and November 24^th and 25^th for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Applications will be accepted until Noon on Monday, November 28, 2022.  Applications will then be considered by the City Council during a special meeting to be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Honeyville City Council Chambers located at  2635 W. 6980 N. Honeyville, Utah.
