...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM FRIDAY TO 9 PM MST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 16 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will result in areas of blowing snow. * WHERE...Wasatch Mountains I-80 North, Western Uinta Mountains and Wasatch Mountains South of I-80. * WHEN...From 5 PM Friday to 9 PM MST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Coverage of ongoing snowfall from Friday afternoon will expand and intensify during the evening hours on Friday. Winter driving conditions are expected along mountain routes Friday night through Saturday evening, especially in the upper Cottonwood Canyons, Interstate 80 near Parley`s Summit, and Logan Pass.
