Rodeo Activities will take place on July 5th at the Rodeo Grounds. Notice of City Council Vacancy

NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL VACANCY

 

Notice is hereby given that Honeyville City will be accepting applications for individuals interested in being considered to fill the City Council interim vacancy effective January 1, 2023.  This will fill an unexpired term and will end December 31, 2023.  The position will be placed on the ballot for the remaining 2-years of that term in the 2023 Municipal General Election. 

Qualifications for consideration are as follows; be a United States Citizen, be a registered voter of the municipality and be a resident of the municipality for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date for the appointment.

Applications are available at the Honeyville City office and must be submitted in person at the office of the City Recorder during the hours of 9:00 a.m. – Noon, Monday – Friday. 

Applications will be accepted until Noon on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.  Applications will then be considered by the City Council during their regular meeting to be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Honeyville City Council Chambers located at  2635 W. 6980 N. Honeyville, Utah.
