Honeyville City has joined with other surrounding communities and is now a part of the Central Box Elder Fire District, which is made up of volunteers from Honeyville, Bear River, Elwood & Deweyville.  The department fights fires such as brush fires, house or other building fires, car or other vehicle fires, farm fires and forest fires. The department handles calls to the Honeyville area along with other calls around the county. Because of where Honeyville is located, the department has to put out different type of fires. The department members live locally and are involved with the community in many ways beside their fire duties.
